Hello,

My name is Danelle Karth. I come from a small family and actually grew up in a house with one brother and my mom. A little over four years ago I married into the Karth Family (September 23rd, 2005). My husband (Peter) is one of nine children. While it has certainly taken some getting used to and when I first met everyone I was very overwhelmed by the feeling of always being in a crowd, the family has a lot to offer with many gifts and talents. This website is one way that some of them (us since I will be adding a few things every now and again) can express ourselves.

Levi. It is probably very appropriate to start with Levi. He has done most of the work related to the website for quite some time now. While we have recently had to start over, he has put many hours into using the web site as a way to express himself and share with you. He has a talent for making movies and loves to share them as well. At sixteen he has become very busy, but has also been anxious to get back to work on the site.

In no particular order, but starting with those who still live at home:

Mary. Mary is the youngest of the family and while she may be the “baby” she certainly doesn’t seem like it having turned 10 this past August. She is talented as an actress and is often in Levi’s movies (though you don’t always know it since she also does voices for Lego movies). She is also working on her role in “A Christmas Carol” that many of us are excited to go see.

Caleb. As the youngest boy he gets stuck playing with his nephew a lot. He is 12 and also very talented.

AnnaLeah. AnnaLeah is 14 and a very talented story teller. It is hard to get her to share her stories, but when she does everyone is entertained.

Susanna. Turning 18 in the next few weeks is Susanna. She is talented in drama, but tends to find herself very busy with school and the play as she is also in “A Christmas Carol”.

Those who are grown.

Isaac. While Isaac still lives at him, he is busy with work and freelancing. As a graphic artist (I think that title works even though he does website design and three dimensional work).

Rebekah. Rebekah is the shining star of the family with a full scholarship to University of Texas, Arlington.

Sam. Sam and  his beautiful wife Naomi live in Indiana (while the rest of the family lives in Texas). While they have to deal with the snow…it seems that they rather like that!

Peter. My beloved, Peter, works hard to support us. He is also (currently) writing a novel for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). It’s 50,000 words in one month and a lot of work for anyone. Add two young children in one small apartment and you have quite a challenge.

Our additions. So far, we are the only ones to have added to the family. While there are sure to be many additions in the future…

Marcus. On July 20, 2006 Marcus William Karth was born. He was the first grandchild and now that he is three he keeps everyone on his toes.

Vanessa. Vanessa Grace Karth was born May 28, 2009. She is growing amazingly fast and it seems that in no time she too will be running around wild.

And of course we can’t forget:

Mom and Dad. With work, church activities, and six kids still at home mom and dad tend to be busy. However, they are the support system behind a very creative bunch of children.

Each year The Karth’s put out a news letter. They have done it for years and long before I came around. It always updates what’s going on in each person’s life, the family as a whole, and gives them a way to share their creative skills (though sometimes reluctently). After having written that small bit about everyone in the family…I feel like I am writing the Family newsletter.
