Sheep Joke #1.

Two guys come across a deep a whole in the middle of the woods. Out of curiousity they toss in some rocks to see how deep the whole is, but they don’t hear anything. One of them finds a railroad tie nearby and decides to toss it in because it should make a noise. All of a sudden a sheep comes running through the woods at top speed and jumps in the whole.

“Wow! That was the craziest thing I ever saw” one man says to another.

Then a farmer comes through. “Have you seen a sheep around here?” The two guys tell them about the crazy sheep that jumped down the hole. “Nope, couldn’t be my sheep” said the farmer.

“Why not?” the two guys ask.

“My sheep was tied to a railroad tie!”

Sheep Joke #2.

Sarah’s dog recently had a litter of puppies and she was telling Bob about it. “My dog ate a whole ball of wool right before she had her puppies and they were born wearing sweaters!” she said. Bob replied, “Hmmm…that sure is some yarn!”

Sheep Joke #3.

What’s a sheeps favorite newspaper?

-The Wool Street Journal, of course!

Sheep Joke #4.

Mary had a little lamb,

you’ve heard it all before,

But did you know she passed her plate,

and had a little more?

Sheep Joke #5.

A teacher in Atlanta asked her students to write down the lines of their favorite Christmas carols. These were some of the responses she got back.

  • Deck the halls with buddy holly
  • We three kids of porridge and tar
  • On the first day of Christmas my tulip gave to me
  • He’s making a list, chicken and rice
  • In the meadow we can build a snow man and pretend he’s sparse and brown
  • With the jelly toast proclaim

Oh…that was supposed to be a sheep joke? Well..they were funny none the less. Besides it’s only 32 days till Christmas.

I hope ewe enjoyed the sheep jokes. I am sure the others will share additional sheep related things with ewe as the week goes on. Don’t forget to check out Mortals in the Dragon’s Eye to read Peter’s rough draft of his NaNoWriMo (2009) novel! Have a great week as ewe prepary for Thanksgiving!
